(view spoiler) As good as previous volume, maybe better. I'm having poor luck with the 40K comics.more It seems to be out there in terms of lore.īad art, worse plot and strange lore make this a one star. What? They have their own bio-engineered bio-Titans. I also have no idea about the Tyranid "controlled" Titan. Where is his Skitarri infantry protection? Or at least Warhounds or even Knights? The way in which is the Princeps interacts with the God-Machine is different than the books I've read. The Princeps should know his unit is to fight the larger Tyranid monsters. The Tyranids are an odd foe but the story makes it worse. Also there is a panel where a Warhound seems to be, in relation to the Astartes and equipment, the size of an Emperor Class? What? The story is also odd. In some instances, it is hard to tell what the Warlord is doing and it is not attractive on the action panels. Sadly the comic art and story are underwhelming. Allegedly written by Dan Abnett, or he simply mailed it in. Also there is a panel where a Warhound seems to be, in relation to Joy to the world! My first one star, and hopefully only, book of 2021! As a big Warhammer 40K fan, I picked up this gem at my used comic shop. Joy to the world! My first one star, and hopefully only, book of 2021!
